IoT Based Fertilizer System

The problem

Small farms and distant plots can require repeated manual irrigation and fertilizer application.

Project story

The team surveyed 50 farmers while developing a system that connects sensors, a controller, pumps and a mobile app for remote operation and scheduling.

The project won first prize at the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation science exhibition, first runner-up at the OUAT science exhibition and third prize at the DAV Unit-VIII science exhibition. It was also selected for the district exhibition and for participation in the 2022–23 National Children’s Science Congress.
