Agri-Flow
A compact vertical crop dryer concept that uses an auger, hot air and moisture sensing to support drying after harvest.
The problem
High-moisture harvested crops are difficult to dry when weather is unreliable.
Project story
The design moves crops through a vertical drying process and uses moisture control to guide the drying stage. Agri-Flow earned first rank in the BIRAC Design for BioE3 Challenge.
How it works
An auger moves crops through a compact vertical dryer while hot air flows through the chamber. Moisture sensing helps control drying before the crop reaches the separator.
